The third dairy development conference was held in Shanghai

The third dairy development conference sponsored by China Dairy Association and Shanghai Dairy Association was held in Shanghai, on 16th April. The purpose of this conference is to follow out the State Department document “The opinion on promoting a healthy and sustained development of dairy”, the conference subject is “standardize and modernize the cow breeding”.

The head of Ministry of Agriculture and Shanghai government attended and addressed the meeting. Liu Chenguo, the chairman of China Dairy Association made a report about dairy standardization. The participants will hear the speech made by many institutions such as the animal husbandry department of Ministry of Agriculture and the Shanghai Agriculture Commission.

Besides, theme forum will be held in three parts: animal breeding, feeding and environment, animal sanitation and health.

Hundreds of representatives from different fields such as agriculture administration departments, dairy associations, scientific research institution, cow breeding and processing enterprises attended the meeting.

The convention has great significance in pushing the breeding standardization in our country, improving the milk quality and speeding the modern construction of dairy industry.
