On 28th March, Bright Group Shanghai has started building a new farm in Yanchen JiangSu, which will be the biggest dairy farm in China. The budget of first stage will be 360 millionRMB and 10,000 dairy cows will be introduced. This will efficiently alleviate the shortage of raw milk in Shanghai. Above was disclosed at the press conference “Yanchen’s development in Yangtze River delta” by Li Qiang, the Mayor and deputy secretary of municipal Party committee.

Although Yanchen is a small city, its coastal location is a big advantage. The SuTong bridge, which is about to open will shorten the distance between Yanchen and Shanghai. After that, driving to Yanchen from Shanghai only takes two and a half hours.
　　
“Good location and abundant resources will make Yanchen be an important role in manufacturing’s transfer and agriculture’s industrialization of Shanghai. ” Mayor Lee told us with confidence. It is introduced that the total area of t tidal flats in Yanchen reaches 6.83 million mu, 67% of that in JiangSu Province, which is the biggest and most potential backup soil. And varied marine organisms are the best resources for developing marine products. In the intertidal zones of Yanchen, the amount of shellfish is more than 100,000 tons, no less than 150 species. Just because of these advantages, besides Bright Group, there are many other large enterprises and groups have major projects in Yanchen.
　　
“For Yanchen, be a part of Yangtze River delta means having complementary advantages. We will not only attract Shanghai’s enterprises to invest here, but also come out for more opportunities.” Said Mayor Lee, and he also introduced that Yanchen is an important base supplying more than 70 kinds of agricultural by-products to Shanghai every year, the annual sales figures are about 10 billion. Moreover, Yanchen will enhance the structure and culture construction, trying to be in line with Shanghai.
