The Entry Condition on Dairy Industry

According to The Entry Condition on Dairy Industry was formulated by the National Development and Reform Commission on March 19, the new enterprises or project bases must be more than 60kms away from the current dairy processing plants, the daily capacity of raw milk processing should be more than 200 tons. Besides, the enterprises must have their own dairy farms, the amount of raw milk can’t be less than 30% of total processing capacity. Milk powder producers should use more than 50% fresh milk as raw materials, liquid milk producers should use all fresh milk as raw materials(except remade milk).

The daily capacity of raw milk processing of the reconstruction and extension projects can’t be less than 1000 tons. Moreover, the National Development and Reform Commission stipulated on dairy base, automatic milking plants, processing capability and environmental protection in detail.

Professional figured out, large amounts of small and medium-sized private enterprises would be blocked the way to access the dairy process industry after the qualification was more and more rigorous. But on the other side, the Condition also encouraged the enterprises to enlarge their production scale by annexation and reorganization.
