第二十七届IDF世界乳业大会是由国际乳业联合会主办的乳品业最重要的世界性大会，是各国乳业企业家、业界人士、学术界人士和政府部门高度关注的大会。大会选择上海光大会展中心为本次大会会议、研讨会及学术报告会的会场，闭幕式晚宴将在上海国际会议中心举行。届时有来自80多个国家3000多名企业家、学者和政府官员参加本次大会；大会举办的乳业高层论坛是全球乳品行业内的重要论坛之一；大会的特邀专家将向代表详细介绍、分析乳品行业现状，并同代表探讨未来行业发展方向、动态；大会的同期还举办规模盛大的乳业展览，还将为各位参会代表安排技术考察及社会考察。
Place under the auspices of the international Dairy Federation, the 27th IDF World Dairy Congress is the most important meeting covering the global dairy sector and attracts high participation form dairy producers, dairy companies,dairy academia and government departments. Both congress and exhibition will be conducted in the Shanghai Everbright convention & exhibition center. The Closing dinner will be held in the Shanghai international convention center on 22 October 2006. lt is predicted that 3000 people from 80 countries will attend this important meeting. A major dairy exhibition will be held at the same time of the Congress.

上海光大会展中心是一座大空间展览馆，铺有特殊矿物骨科耐磨地面。展览中心拥有可供货车直接进入的进货通道以及数个超大的吊装平台，为能展企业提供最便捷安全的服务；同时展馆的中央空调，给排水、电力、先进的通讯设施以及国际互联网一应俱全。

The west hall is at the west of SECEC which contain 3 levels. The ground is covered with special granite (wear resisting material): it can hold more than 1200 standard booths. Furthermore, it is equipped with central air-compressor, water supply and drainage, Internet access and any other needed facilities. Consequently, advanced equipment and professional services make the west hall become an ideal place to hold large-scale,exhibition.
